We took a quick trip down to Myrtle Beach, S.C. last week for a few days. Bruce played in the 24th Annual National Retired Military Golf Classic, and I made several stops along the way for fabric and supplies. We had a blast!

Between hunting for various embroidery supplies and visiting local fabric mills, I had the chance to race the kids along the beach, hunt for shells, and spend a relaxing afternoon at the waterpark with Michael and Leah.

The Sand Dunes Resort was just wonderful to us. Besides offering great rates for the golfers, the amenities included good food in various restaraunts inside the hotel, a small water park, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, whirlpools, fantantic views from our room on the 11th floor, and courteous, professional staff.  The only complaint I have is that they didn't offer in-room wireless internet service (I thought everyone did!).
